Ghassoul
Ghassoul is a natural clay rich in rock salts and trace elements, and has been used since the Middle-Ages by Moroccan and Oriental women for their hair care. The clay is extracted in an area located at the edge of the Middle-Atlas in Morocco from the only known layers in the world.

Its natural fragrance is similar to that of the hazelnut. Flower oils such as Rose and Geranium are added to it for their pleasant soothing action. Ghassoul is of particular benefit for those with greasy hair that lacks volume as it reduces scalp over-secretions. Also, it has been shown to help reduce dandruff and sebum secretion, the latter having been linked with premature hair loss. More widely, it has been used as an excellent conditioner for all types of hair. |
